Tour Description:
We’ll drive through beautiful North Carolina countryside to visit some of the 99 local potters in their workshops and galleries. The escort will acquaint our guests with the history, an overview of what pottery making entails, interesting anecdotes about the area, and details about what’s available at each pottery stop. Of course, pottery will be available for sale directly from the potter, but there’s no pressure to purchase. Guests will be able to experience "throwing a pot". (Please note: Kirk Tours does not receive any remuneration for bringing groups to workshops/ galleries.)
